The New Hampshire Dietetic Association will be hosting a seminar on Thursday August 26th, 2010 entitled Practical Application of Nutrition Care Process to Critically Ill Patients The 1 1/2 hour live, interactive teleseminar will begin at 2 pm at Nutfield Professional Building, The event is open to anyone interested in the topic. The cost is $10 per person for members of the American Dietetic Association. The cost for non-members is $20. The nutrition care process (NCP) will be presented from both management and clinical perspectives regarding its practical application to the care of critically ill patients. Using a case-based approach, the role of the NCP, in conjunction with evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols, will be illustrated with examples of how it links the nutrition diagnosis with safe and effective interventions to improve clinical outcomes. |
