The New Hampshire Dietetic Association will be hosting a seminar on Thursday August 26th, 2010 entitled Practical Application of Nutrition Care Process to Critically Ill Patients  The 1 1/2 hour live, interactive teleseminar will begin at 2 pm at Nutfield  Professional Building,
Parkland Medical Center,  44 Birch St. Derry, NH  Refreshments will be provided.

 The event is open to anyone interested in the topic.  The cost is $10 per person for members of the American Dietetic Association.  The cost for non-members is $20.  Pre-registration is required by contacting Lynda

The nutrition care process (NCP) will be presented from both management and clinical perspectives regarding its practical application to the care of critically ill patients. Using a case-based approach, the role of the NCP, in conjunction with evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols, will be illustrated with examples of how it links the nutrition diagnosis with safe and effective interventions to improve clinical outcomes.

·    Use the Nutrition Care Process to develop nutrition care plans geared toward improving clinical outcomes.
